classroom management
Having fun in school is a great way to develop a love for learning. I believe in having fun and encourage my students to explore, question, share, and enjoy themselves during class time. However, there is an appropriate time for interacting with others and there are rules that they must follow so that their idea of fun doesn’t turn into silliness that wastes class time. I do expect my students to behave in a manner that is respectful of others and conducive to learning. Any behaviors that interfere with the learning process will not be tolerated. In order to provide our students with the excellent educational climate they deserve, I have asked students to abide by the following guidelines:
For the most part, discipline problems that arise during any given day are easily handled within the classroom. However, if a problem becomes persistent or is considered grave in nature, I will notify the parents so that we can work together to come up with solutions to help rectify the problem. Depending on its severity, there may be occasions when I will have to involve our school principal to help deal with the problem at hand.
- Respect
- Cooperation
- Self-Control
- Effort
